The Russian Navy is on the island to take part in a bilateral humanitarian assistance, disaster relief and passage exercise with the U.S. Navy off the coast of Guam. The exercise will be highlighted by at-sea and shore interaction with a humanitarian assistance/disaster relief scenario.

Joe Leidig salute during a wreath-laying ceremony held at the War in the Pacific National Historical Park. The ceremony was held to commemorate American and Japanese soldiers and island residents who died on Guam during World War II. The Russian Navy is on the island to take part in a bilateral humanitarian assistance, disaster relief and passage exercise with the U.S. Navy off the coast of Guam.
